Th...th...thirty?!!

I just wanted to thank everyone for your well wishes for my birthday. I can't believe how many people called, emailed, showed up, and facebooked messages my way. Thanks!! I had a great birthday. I took Emma and my nephew to the zoo. It was an absolutely perfect day to go. The temperature was awesome! That evening my parents watched Emma for us so Eric and I could go out and celebrate. Nothing fancy, just a movie (Harry Potter) and dinner. But since we never get that time alone, it was awesome. I'm not one for big giant fancy birthday parties anyways. At least not for me. Never have been. On Sunday we went to my parents house and celebrated with everyone. Well, I should say we squeezed some party in between games. I'm not a huge cake fan (don't get me wrong, I like it, but it's not my favorite) so Eric made me apple pie. He made two: one with a lattice top and one with a crumb topping. He also made me homemade vanilla bean icecream. So yummy! I had fun pretending to freak out about turning 30, but I really don't care. Now I guess it's just back to business as usual, but with the added aches and pains from being so old. You better believe I'm going to milk this with Eric! =)
