Happy (late) Easter

I hope you all had a great Easter. As I mentioned in a previous post, we weren't going to be doing much. We were going to go to church, but then an hour before realized that Eric hadn't brought up his nice clothes or ties or anything yet, so he didn't have anything to wear. I know he could've gone in jeans, but we opted to stay home. Maybe we were wrong, but it's water under the bridge now. We managed to find some of our Easter stuff and put a basket together for Emma. She loved it. One of her favorite things was the Egg Filled with Bunnies (like a barrell of monkeys). She thinks it's funny how their ears hook together. We hunted for eggs in the backyard, and she wanted to stop and eat the contents of each egg before proceeding. I guess she didn't have much competition to worry about. We had a nice dinner and just relaxed as a family, which was a first in a long time for us. Now back to moving and unpacking. Yuck.

It's nice to know that we're not the only ones who didn't go to church on Easter. Jace and Casey were sick so Casey didn't take the older two boys and Alek is too small to take to church, so we all stayed home and had a low key Easter too. Hope your move went well. I am excited for our upcoming move but I'm dreading it too. You'll have to let me know how long it takes to get unpacked and settled in.

I'm glad you got everything moved! I love the Egg Full of Bunnies idea!

Sounds nice to just hang out with your cute little family all day!

Hi Holly,
I just read your most recent entries. The photos are wonderful, especially the one of Emma in the towels. I love you. Dad
