Eric has had the same frames now for almost 9 years. He got them in his first city on his mission. I don't mind that he's had them so long (including our entire marriage) because I love them. I've always liked their European look and how well they fit his face. We've looked several times for new glasses and have never found any we liked at all. None of them were right for Eric. You can't find frames like his in the US. His frames are slowly getting older and more and more worn out, so the time is soon approaching when we will NEED to get new ones. Recently we were again looking at frames, ready to conclude once more that we weren't going to find any we liked when we found not one, but two pairs we liked! Hallelujah! We figured it must be time to get new ones. So, we bought him a new pair. He'll still wear both pairs (at least until his other ones wear out). His new frames are very different from his old ones, but I really like them, and the more he wears them the more I like them. So, for your viewing pleasure (and since so many of you care so much about this), here for an extended engagement, and making their debut appearance on this blog...drumrole please... here are Eric's new glasses!
While choosing Eric's new pair and waiting for the eye exam etc. Emma wanted to try some glasses on too. I hope she never needs glasses, but if she ever did need them I think she'd be dang cute! Here she is in three different pairs.
