Just in case you were wondering, it's a bad idea to let your kids eat sugar and drink sugar for dinner, and then try to put them to bed any time afterwards. I just thought I would share this little factoid with you in case you didn't already know. You're welcome.
The real story is that we went to Costco the other night, took too long there, decided to buy Emma a Churro and let her drink some of Eric's Rootbeer (which he claims I pronounce 'rutbeer', which I so don't!), came home, realized it was past her bedtime, got her ready for bed, and tried to put her down. She was literally jumping of the walls (okay, by walls I actually mean floor - but she was going CRAZY). Now, usually she eats much better than that because I usually try to be a responsible parent. Obviously I fell short this time (okay, so I fall short lots of times at being a responsible parent, but who's counting?). So, just in case you were planning on serving sugar with a side of sugar for dinner sometime, you may want to rethink those plans. Not such a good idea.

Thanks for the tip! I can't even imagine what that would do for Caroline. She already is bouncing from here to there. I am sure a time will come when I am in a bind. We're just not perfect ya know? But I am sure that she truly enjoyed the dinner, and it sounds like you got some free entertainment afterward! I love the endless toddler energy!
