The Lamest Reason

I usually don't have a very logical or solid reason for wanting or doing things. I know there doesn't always have to be a reason for things, but sometimes even I astound myself at how lame my reasons seem. And trust me, just because I want something doesn't mean I always get it. The latest example of this is the iPhone. I recently told Eric that I wanted an iPhone not for the typical reasons people want one, but because it has an application that makes it a level. You know a level with a bubble in the middle that tells you if something is straight or not? Yup, you can turn the iPhone on its side and it becomes a level with a bubble and everything...and that's why I want one. Not that I ever need a level. Not that I've ever used a level (at least not that I can remember). But that's my reason.

How funny. But it kind of does make sense because if you were to have a level somewhere so handy as in your "Handi" you might use it when say, hanging pictures around the house. But if you have to buy a whole level that has no other use except to be a level then it just takes up more space than it's worth.

I didn't know you liked levels so much. I'll have to remember that when your birthday comes around. ; )

Holly! You can buy a level for like $2. I'll even buy you one. Do you know how much iphones cost? p.s.we just bought a 47in. LCD TV for a legitimate reason! And it doesn't have an app for a level. But we have an actual level, so we're good.

Maybe I should have been a little more specific in my post. I don't actually want a level or need one. Thanks for the offers to buy me one, but I'll pass. =) I just thought it was cool that the iphone could do that. And I admit that it's useless...that was kind of the message behind my post. I don't have any plans to buy an iphone anytime soon, so I'll definately be able to afford that level should I need one.
