Build-A-Bear

The other night we took the girls to Build-a-Bear.  We thought it would be fun for them to have a similar toy, but also very different.  While choosing which animal to get, I was pointing all the options out to Emma.  She saw the monkey, the bears, the cats, the bunnies, the turtle, and then came the dinosaur.  She saw the dinosaur and immediately knew that was the one for her.  Okay.  Then we went to choose an outfit, and she saw a tinkerbell dress that had wings and came with a wand.  Well, there was no contest.  Tinkerbell is her absolute favorite.  So, shown here for the first time, Emma's creation... It's interesting how as funny as this new friend looks, it is a perfect expression of Emma.  She loves things like pirates, dinosaurs (obviously), and trains, but also loves princesses, dressing up, and purses.  

The girls have been doing well together (for the most part), and enjoy being silly together.   They run around and are learning to take turns.  Kayla calls Emma "sweethart".  It's cute.
