Riding the Train

Yesterday we decided to ride the new Frontrunner train that is now running. Emma loves trains, so we thought it would be fun. Our plans were made before we knew it would be snowing (on May 1st! I thought I was going to throw up I'm so sick of snow), but we decided to go anyway. Emma loved it. She liked looking out the window and pointing everything out that we saw. She was so cute on her seat with her coat and hat on and tucked in under a blanket. It's a little overpriced, but otherwise it kind of reminds me of Austria. While I was there I would take a regional train several times a week for just a stop of two just in order to visit someone or get somewhere I needed to. Ahhh memories. Here is proof of how cute Emma was and how much fun she had (and of how cold it was).

How fun! I wanted to do that on one of the 3 free days, but then I forgot. Oh well.

Hey, where does it run? I wish we had something in Colorado...stupid Americans with their cars :) Right down I-25, Cheyenne to Pueblo would do nicely...

It runs from ogden to Salt Lake, but the plans are for it to run all the way down through Utah Valley as well.
