The Trip Down

On our way to California we stopped in St. George to stretch our legs on the temple grounds.  It was beautiful of course.  We went inside the visitor's center and saw a display of clay sculptures by a former opera singer who is an amateur sculptor.  It was amazing!!  Emma was an angel the whole time and stayed very quiet.  She loved the different sculptures of the Savior's life. I almost cried like 5 times there.  It's there through June, if you can go you should.

We stopped in Las Vegas to pick something up at FAO Schwartz, and Emma remembered all her favorite toys from the last time we were there.

We went to the Bellagio to look at the water show.  While we there we also looked in their lobby at the incredible flower display they had.  It was amazing!!!  They had done it up so our perspective was that of the bugs.  We were small and looking up at glass flowers and butterflies, while standing next to beds of flowers (that smelled incredible) and bugs and insects made entirely of buds and moss.  Wow!

The next morning we went to Disneyland (as well as half day on Wednesday) and had lots of fun.  I've never been there before without any other adults, so it was a little weird, but still fun. Emma loves it there.  She's been a little spoiled this year so far... we've been there 4
times now. This trip she got to see old friends ...

and meet some new ones too.

We arrived at our destination, and Emma is now trying to adjust to a new place with new people that she hasn't seen for awhile.  It'll take at least a few days, but I think she'll do fine.

I hope you have a season pass to Disneyland. You have been there more in the last 6 months than I have in the last 6 years. Looks like you had fun. And I love your pictures at the temple. The St George temple is so beautiful.

Glad you were able to have fun along the way! Can I pick you up when you're ready to come home so I can stop in all those places? :)
