Disneyland in the Fall?

This past week Emma and I went to Disneyland with my mom and sister. I love their Fall decorations. We were there 2 years ago while in town for my cousin's wedding and loved it. It's so cute. And since Fall is my favorite season, of course I wanted to go again. The one thing we weren't expecting (and apparently neither were forecasters) was a freak heat wave over southern California. Our first day in the park it reached 103 degrees! By our last day it had cooled down to a mere 90 degrees or so. We weren't expecting that. It seemed like a mockery of Fall having all the decorations up during such un-Fall like weather. Since this was Emma's and my 5th time to Disneyland this year I won't post too much about it. I'll add a few pictures, but it's mostly the same thing as previous posts. This time she did get to meet a few new characters such as the Wicked Witch from Snow White, Buzz Lightyear, Mr. Incredible, the Queen of Hearts, Governor Ratcliffe, the Big Bad Wolf, and Jasmine. She loves meeting them, even when they lick her head like the Big Bad Wolf did. The new Toy Story ride was really fun. It's like Buzz Lightyear's Astroblasters on steriods. We saw the characters in halloween costumes, and actually watched some of the parade (I don't usually do that - I'm not a parade person). As much fun as we had, it's always nice to get home.

We had very "un-fall like weather" here too. Glad you all had a good time. I was hoping you would post when you got back. We need to get together sometime. I'll email everyone later this week.

I LOVE Disneyland!! I have never seen the fall decorations-way cute. We are going the first week of december. I'm hoping that Sydney doesn't freak out with the characters or the rides. Disneyland would be a total bust if that is the case. Cute pictures.

Looks fun. I've never been to Disneyland. Sad, huh? Someday... someday. :)
